Our Mission
The Movement for Action is an independent organization dedicated to fostering collaboration with communities, grassroots organizations, and governmental agencies in developing regions. Our mission is to design and deliver vital educational projects that empower the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
We strive to act both proactively and responsively, addressing critical regional challenges and providing targeted support where it is needed most.
By promoting good governance and inclusive policies, we aim to create environments where societies can thrive. Through direct engagement with diverse stakeholders, we seek to share insights, encourage innovative solutions, and drive impactful educational initiatives.
Strategic Framework and Action Initiatives
We aspire to a society where basic education and literacy are accessible to all, where young minds are cultivated and where children are given the tools to build positive futures for themselves and for those around them.
o To Bring together organizations and individuals to target specific communities in South Asia and elsewhere to encourage education for girls by making it socially and financially motivating for families and the government.
Sample initiatives:
To provide free tuition through government sponsored or private scholarships for families who send their children to school for as long as they send them to school.
Tax breaks for multinational or other corporations to help fund educational projects in communities most in need.
To provide free breakfasts and/or lunches to students enrolled in school to ease the burden on families in need.. Agricultural enterprises participate in donations of food and expertise to help communities provide nutritional resources to schools in exchange for subsidies.
Guaranteed jobs after graduation (especially for teachers). Focus on Teacher education and training.
Strategic Action Initiative Framework
Every project undertaken will be guided by a Strategic Action Initiative Framework in which goals and objectives are based on solid research identifying the specific problems of a community, how these problems impact the community, identifying the most important goals and the steps (objectives) needed to reach those goals. Also identified are groups which can help support our initiatives and the roles they will play in the project. It is also important to look closely at possible obstacles which may impact the success of our project. These may be governmental, political, cultural or social obstacles and these need to be forecast before any action is taken. A brief outline of our Strategic Action Initiative Framework.
Community in which the project will be focused
What is the problem? A detailed explanation of the problem(s) to be focused on.
Why is the Action Initiative necessary? Specific data, facts, case studies illustrating how the problem is negatively impacting the community.
Goals and Objectives: What do we hope the Action Initiative will achieve? What is the hoped for result if the Action Initiative is successful with detailed statistics and verifiable outcomes.
Resource Access in the Community: What types of resources does the community have now and what resources are needed for the Action Initiative to be successful.
Action Outline: Detailed timeline of steps to be taken from start to finish for the Action Initiative to succeed. This will include a specific timeline with dates and funding needs to achieve desired outcomes with regard to objectives and goals.
What other organization(s) will help put this plan into effect? Identifying appropriate organizations who have strengths in the areas needed for specific projects and who have similar values as Movement for Action.
Obstacles (potential problems with the plan): These may be governmental, political, cultural or social obstacles which need to be forecast before any action is taken.

Areas of Practice
Educational Quality:
What’s the number one thing any child needs to be able to learn? A teacher, of course.
Importance of Girl’s Education:
The World Bank Group estimates the global impact of depriving girls of education. Its findings show the transformative power of education for girls.
Reducing Conflict:
There are many casualties of any war, and education systems are often one of the first of many social institutions to be devestated. While this may seem obvious, the impact of conflict cannot be overstated.
An additional nine million people risk being pushed into poverty on top of the 33 million affected by last summer’s devastating floods in Pakistan, the UN development agency, UNDP said on Thursday, ahead of next week’s International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan in Geneva.
